Makkah Health Cluster prepares hospitals and healthcare centres for Ramadan

The cluster prepared an emergency network for heart and stroke cases.

Makkah Health Cluster has set operational plans and protocols for all hospitals and affiliated healthcare centres during the Ramadan season.

A total of eight hospitals and 43 healthcare centres have finalised preparations for Ramadan, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health (MOH).

The Health Cluster has provided training and equipment to personnel, allowing outpatient clinics in all hospitals and centres to provide patients them with the highest level of healthcare.

Accordingly, Ajyad Emergency Hospital remains around the clock for Grand Mosque visitors. Three medical centres are set up in the Holy Mosque corridors for emergency cases. The Al-Haram Hospital will service patrons from the northern courtyards of the Grand Mosque.

In addition, all Makkah hospitals can deal with stroke patients through an emergency hotline, connecting them to the SEHA Virtual Hospital. King Abdullah Medical City is designated as a reference hospital for both heart and stroke cases.

Meanwhile, other emergency cases can be referred to facilities like Al-Noor Specialist, King Faisal, King Abdulaziz, Hira General, Ajyad, and Maternity and Children Hospitals.
